Vandana Saxena Poria
OBE, ACA, FCCA, CEOVandana Saxena Poria qualified as a UK Chartered Accountant with HW Fisher. After qualifying, she spent 10 years living and working in a multitude of countries in Central and Eastern Europe, initially for Ernst & Young. She went on to become the CEO of BPP International, the international division of Europe's largest listed professional training company with a turnover in excess of £160 million. In this capacity, she was responsible for all training outside the UK. She was also responsible for drafting the first versions of the IFRS and ISA material for BPP. Vandana was also a very successful tutor and consistently achieved top student ratings. Accountancy education is Vandana’s passion.
Vandana also works closely with the British Government to foster international trade for the UK and has given numerous presentations for/to UKTI. She has held several positions with the British Chambers of Commerce in several countries including Chairperson.
Dipak Poria
ChairmanDipak is a double graduate in Maths and IT from Imperial College, London. He spent the first 15 years of his career working for some of the world’s largest investment houses (Bank of America, LGIM, Colonial Mutual, Kuwaiti Investment Bank) in various R&D and IT related roles in the City of London. In 2001 he was appointed R&D Director at BAM, an international hedge fund trading arbitrage from emerging markets as well as derivatives on the major global markets.
James Cooper
FCA, CFAJames joined GTG as a non-executive director in May 2008. He is a Chartered Accountant and CFA charter holder. He has over 25 years experience in accountancy, financial training and the publishing industry. He spent 7 years with FTC (now Kaplan) as a lecturer and director of professional studies before moving to BPP where he headed up the professional education division. Under his leadership, BPP expanded from its London base to build a network of training centers across the UK and Europe.
Peter Keeling
FCAPeter is GTG's UK director and has 30 years experience in ACCA training, both in the UK and abroad. Peter is associated with the London School of Accountancy, one of London's most successful ACCA tuition providers.
