    Default Solo Study Experience

    Quote from a member:

    Hi

I am doing self study for my ACCA since the beginning . I find it very flexible and easy to go with the routine. ACCA is a very professional qualification and would require lot of students time . So I thought self studying to be the best option. Despite of the fact that self studying isnt very common as far because many students feel that they just wont be able to do it all alone but its not that hard , Thanks to the online forums and superb distance learning courses. I study the chapters in the Study guide with the guidance of study pro gramme available and then when I get stuck I email the query to the Tutor via email and get an reply within few hours. Recently I discovered a new publisher Get through Guides (GTG) which has got an online forum which gives the opportunity for students to interact with tutors and even chat with them . This had been of enormous help for me. Besides that it gives a chance to talk to fellow students which prevent the building of boredom as you know that there are many people along with me who are studying and going through similar situations like me. It also gives us a chance to avail many exam tips and find a study partner with whom I can synchronize my studies. This brings myself into a good routine with good time of studies and good time for other social commitments

I would recommand self study with the help of good distance learning pro gramme to ACCA Students and would ensure them that its not that hard and bad as it seems!

    Default Self studying

I can assure you that self studying is not easy but once you get the right materials, it goes itself.

Note: Fix yourself a reasonable target then go for it....

I am doing self study too. I do get stuck many times as the books don't explain too well or too abstract to understand. But I have so far pass F2 and F3 by self learning. But self discipline is a must.
