Arrow Ethical Guidelines for Posting on Forum.

    Dear Members,

It is advised that you follow Ethical Guidelines when posting on the forum.

    • If you have a study query , make sure that its concise and truly reflect your concern. A tutor can better answer , for example , a query which says " How do we calculate the depreciation charge via reducing balance method" rather then simply stating " I dont understand anything in depreciation , please tell me".
    • Make use of reasonable language & style of posts , a simple thumb rule is to make sure you know you are posting on an accountancy forum and not on a Chit-Chat (Gupshup) forum. E.g. Wrong style "Hiya dudes , am new ova this forum , How do ya guys study for F1".... a better way is to ask...."Hi guys , I am studying F1 , What is the best way to study F1"
    • Avoid direct criticism at others post , If you disagree state your reasons , make an opinion and go ahead.. appreciate the differences of opinion.
    • Before asking any typical question ( for example , are there online notes available?) first browse the forum and its more then likely that you will get your answer. Repetition is unproductive and unappreciated.
    • The Forum is a place for discussion , avoid exchanging private messages when the query can be answered better on the forum. The forum is for your & everyone's support.
    • There is a "General Chatter" section where you can talk about just anything as far as its not morally ill. Make use of that section to interact rather then using the Individual paper sections. Our focus should be to enhance the quality of contents available.
    • Post your queries in relevant section (e.g. dont post an F1 query in P3 section). This will ensure that your query reaches the right person. If incase you have posted into an irrelevant section then immediately notify the Moderators who will help you to move the post to correct sections.
    • This is an accountancy forum , while you are free to share any non accountancy information in General Chatter , It shouldnt lead to infringement of copyrights , shouldnt be pasted from other websites/forums or any information which has not been prior approval for sharing from its author. Copy/Pastes articles are counter productive and will lose the focus.
    • Use the "Thanks" button If you find someones post useful , this is better then making a post e.g. " Thanks Barbie , This is useful".The Thanks Button serves the same purpose. This will make it easier for others to follow a thread.

Admin & Moderators reserves the right to modify/remove any post , ban/suspend any user which is/are not in the interests of GetThroughGuides and which does not contribute to any productive support for our members. Forum Administrations decision is decisive and final.

We will do our best to make this forum the most effective tool for your studies.

    Best Regards.
