Study text – This is the comprehensive text, structured in sequence around the ACCA syllabus headings, therefore comprehensive, gives them confidence that everything is covered, lots of examples, clear approach, less words more punchy style, uses mind maps to summarise – very clear and accessible.

Question bank – Very comprehensive but with added value of more explanation of how answers are arrived at.

Key notes – revision aid – lots of easy to remember diagrams, notes etc

Student Notes – can be used by tutors to support classwork or for home study as a structured way to go through each syllabus section – need to be supported by study text for the detail

Practice exams – do what they say on the box! – practice makes perfect

E-learning is most welcome although it still has not attracted me that much as a replacement for classroom learning!

You will know the benefit of E - Learning when you live in a country where there is no single acca tuition provider.. hehe

E-learning is a fantastic idea. Still we must not neglect the importance of books. It can support any kind of learning but cannot replace the printed material. Also in my opinion self study is the main key to success.:)I wish that it would start as early as possible.

Thats true . I only used E learning in conjuction with the Study text. Because for some things there are no substitutions and also I agree that self study is the main key to success.

fundamentally, whether it is books or e-learning: the will to study has to come from within you. At GTG we are committed to providing you with as many tools as possible, to facilitate the studying. You will be seeing many more innovations from GTG in 2008!

The study material is great. Easy simple, clear so its easy to understand. The feature i like the most is the case study after each topic.. Best of Luck GTG
