I really appreciate your anxiety to know about IFRS 3 Business Combinations.

As far as F3 syllabus is concerned IFRS 3 is not part of the examinable document.

In January 2008, IFRS 3 Business Combinations was revised by IASB.

A business combination is a transaction or event in which an acquirer obtains control of one or more businesses.

IFRS 3 has been dealt in detail in F7 syllabus. For more queries the F7 forum is an appropriate place to discuss.Also it is discussed in our GTG F7 Study Guide. Following is F7 forum link:
