Section B - important topics

Hi,
I have been out of the scene for a long time. Last time I had told you about important topics to study in Section A. The following topics are of relevance in Section B

SG B1 - You do not need to study much in this, except understanding how costs are classified under various heads since this builds a foundation for the next study guides in the section.

SG B2 - Again not a very popular topic with the examiners, you need to concentrate on the direct and indirect material and labour costs since these are most likely to be asked.

SG B3 - This is the most important and the most examined topic in Section B. The two things that one must know in this chapter are
1. How to read a graph and analyse the cost behaviour from the given graph 2. Calculation of variable cost per unit from given information using High-Low method (refer to GTG question bank for questions)

Knowledge of the above should be sufficient as far as section B is concerned. Hope you are studying well. Be confident and do well.
