Hi,

Our F8 BIT (Bringing it together) Study sessions student list will be updated and the inactive members would now be removed from the study sessions if we see no active participation* from them in the next 2 days.

The Study program was made out of our mutual interest and once the name is removed , no feedback would be given to their answers nor shall be entered into any discussion.

The member list will be shortlisted on 1 April 08.

Kind Regards,

Acid

* - Those who didnt submit answers for any session

HI Acid,

Yes I agree to this, as even I have observed, that people have just disapperared.

Vivi is out on a audit out of station, and will be back after a few days. He had informed this before hand, so I think you can keep his name on the list still.

Hi,

I dis agree with the suggestion as these forums are meant to be a learning
process.

Some members are still studying their notes. However, for those that have fully finished studying let them participate fully as we learn thru mistakes having been corrected.

I salute all

yes colleagues,

though am away from my station doing our annual stocktake i have been checking the forum everyday for updates.my session 9 answers are ready but at the time i was leaving my base our system had a problem and i couldnt post.

i have just downloaded the questions for session 10 and will do them.i should be starting off today from where i am which is about 400kms from where i live.but i will only be able to report to the office on wednesday next week.so this is when i will be able to post the answers for the two sessions.

i have compiled some experiences that i have had during our stocktake as advised to me by annie.we also had our internal auditors and the external auditors too! i should be able to put up something on the forum on wednesday.

acid you never responded to my mail i sent to you and annie when i was leaving my station.

all the best to all participants and remember revisions should start 2 months before the exam so we should be starting come 1 april.

I having been having problems logging in for the pass couple of weeks and Admin. have been assisting.
Sorry for not posting.

With that said, it would not have been fair to me if I did not get to come on before members were removed.

The circumstances for persons not posting could vary and it would not be fair to those that have genuine reason for not being able to post.

Why is it a problem any, the tutor can mark based on what has been post. Also, if a member have not posted the session then another person can do so. What would be needed is the listing of members and the posting order, which could be generated based on the time the member join the group.

I'm new to this. It is good to have active interaction and participation from all. Though i would like to support view given by friend CHIHENI.

Yes I myself disagree with this idea because sometimes people may have work commitments and not to mention other subjects to study so therefore they may be only able to answer when most convenient. Another pointer is that we are going through all the topics one by one and then moving on.......what if we forget what was done in session 1??? Would we be doing any reviews??

Hi,

I have decided not to take the audit exam in June but to put off untill Dec, as I have not yet finished the study text. I have been struggling to answer the questions posted but reading peoples answers has help a lot in understanding the questions and what answers are required.
Please can I stay in the group and have access to the answer and questions, I will answer the questions I can, but this real will help in passing the exam in Dec.

Keep up the good work

cheers
Tracy

hi acid,
i would really love to participate in ur bits but i have dial up and its alot of trouble, its really slow. Sometimes it takes a long while for things to load on my system for the past times i came on this site i relly haven't got to see the sesion details every time i open it, i'm not getting through to it or it closes immediately. its frustratiing, but i really would like to be apart of it all. So please allow some grace period and send me up to date info. i'll keep checkin the site and i will participate once i get the chance. but i think u all need to refresh some of ur notes cuz sometimes after its downloading i get a remard "the page cannot be displayed" please look into this matter. I do hope to stay in ur register thank you.

Acid,

I'm sorry to say that maybe I should back out of the study group as I have decided to postpone my exams from Dec'08 to
jun'09. The local GTG supplier here still has not gotten texts after telling me the wait will be about 2 weeks on 3 separate occassions and I eventually purchased my texts online last night.

I need to get my texts cause I need some inspiration to jumpstart me. (I get depressed sometimes when I think about how long I've been trying to complete ACCA).

So for the time being I'll be an observer to your study sessions.
