I agree and this is what we are aiming for. This forum is only a few weeks old and currently under constant development and will only get better. Please bear with us as we set up our systems and procedures.

Hi all,
To revise for F4 I would suggest the following. Please note - these are NOT tips - these are suggestions of how to use the coming weeks:
1) If you look at the pilot paper, you will see that similar questions have come up in past papers too, especially the first 7 short form questions. So you should ensure that you have practiced the short form questions from the last 6 - 8 exams or so. This will ensure that you have a sufficient idea of the kinds of questions asked to answer 70% of the paper (there are now 7 short form questions of 10 marks each)
2) The law of torts/ professional negligence is new in the syllabus. Ensure that you understand what:
a) a duty of care is
b) how breach of that duty can happen
c) the loss that can occur
You should also know the Caparo case really well.
3) Governance is also a new topic. This is likely to be examined so please ensure you have revised this area - the combined code and its main points.
4) practice some past exam paper questions revolving around contract law - eg consideration, offer and acceptance etc etc
5) Try to practice the other scenario based questions - remember however, the new syllabus questions will be slightly easier as they are worth 10 marks as opposed to 20 marks in the old syllabus
I hope this is helpful. Let me know if you need any more help!
Regards,
Vandana
