Hi

How about getting a audio version of the study text. Not only do these boil down books to their bare essentials, you don't even have to read - a golden-voiced narrator does that for you on a MP3 CDs. That means you can now squeeze in quality, work-related 'reading' while you jog, sit in traffic, or fall asleep ….
It's just my suggestion as I think it will be of great help as in my case, time is a constraint and I need to make use of every possible time I get to complete my papers

Hi,

I just thought that the audio version would a great idea as usually a distance learning student will get bored studying text all the way himself . He will not benefit from the classroom lecture.

So GTG could have mp3 audios which could complement the Studytext in a lecture style . e.g Lecture for Chapter 2 Professional ethics . So the 2 things can complement each other .

What do you think?

Yes excellent idea.

So how do you suggest we protect the audio from easily getting duplicated and passed round the net like all the music thats so easily available?

Yes , thats a point . Otherwise instead of purchasing, people would download the Audio lectures from p2p softwares of MSN Transfers.

Some good auditor should propose the effective internal control system here...

Make it as a softwere or as a registerd Audio visual book. where you ve to register it. but u ve to make it related to the text book... he he

if they dont have text book they will not understand ...

so either even tough they download it they will be force to buy the text book
to understand properly other wise its gonna be time waste for who ever download it :D

There should be no download facility .

Just that the audio should be available online on distance learning portal which would be secured by password. Students can log in and listen to the audio . There shouldnt be any download facility.

Thats good idea but again you have to think you might like to carry it in you ipod. Or while u going to sleep.. Now not every one have a computer in there bedroom unless they use a laptop and not in every where internet is so available. So we have to bear that in mind... tooo

You are right Priyo .

But I see a growing demand for audio lectures and they even sound good to me. So things will carry on slowly . I think that having them on the web is a great idea! .

Hi Trust,

I believe certainly GTG does takes ideas into account and this one is really a great one , However its impossible that as soon as ideas arrive then they can be converted into product and services!

Have to consider feasibility and ways to achieve the things better! Keep the ideas coming.

I would look forward to see your idea into a lecture studytext one day!

Hi Vishwas

Thanks for your valuable suggestion. Be assured that your suggestions are noted and will be taken into consideration while launching of new products / editions. GTG will try its best to implement them. But as Acid said to what extent these can be implemented will depend on some factors. But your ideas are always welcome!
