Hi
I was under the impression you could not sit any of the professional papers until you have passed F1-9 but I have noticed people are sitting F9 etc
and P1 or 2. which is correct ???

Thanks rolleyes:

Hi Nelly,

You are correct that you can taken any P level paper along with the F level but first you have to clear F1, F2 and F3 which is knowledge skill paper. After clearing these papers you can take other F level paper that is from F4 to F9 and P level paper that is P1 to P3 and other two option papers accordingly.

But in my view it is better to take F level paper first and then the P level papers because F level papers are connected to P level paper, once your fundamental concept is cleared through the F levels papers you will face less or no difficulty in taking Professional papers. But if you think of taking P level paper first you might face lot of difficulty as your fundamental will not be cleared. so its better to take F level papers first and then the P level.

Its up to you how you plan you paper.

Hope this will help

Hello study friends,

I support Rajni's point on taking the Fundamentals first and then move on. It will a challenge to skip to a more advance paper, when the foundation has not been established.

Take care...

Hi
Thanks to everyone who got back to me on my question. All the replies were helpful. I think I will stick to doing the the Fundamentals first. Sorry I took so long to get back as I have been busy studying
