December Books

Hi,

Are the December books any good for June 2008 exams, I have failed by Dec and used the BBP books I know now that GTG are better but could really do without the expense of buying more books,
I know the IAS1 has changed, but isn't this just the name of the Balance sheet and Income statement not how it is done?

Yes you are right that the changes are only as you mentioned. GTG F8 Books are not just okay but excellent for your June 08 Session!

Have you got GTG F7 Bulletin for this month? It explains changes in IAS 1.

No as I wan't subscribe I am now but how do I get hold of a copy of previous bulletins

Hi Tracy,

Snehal will send you the old bulletin (there has only been one other).

I know that you don't want the expense of buying new books - this is understandable. However, if you are having problems understanding the concepts in your current textbook, you might find it 16.20 well spent! Also, I should add that our F7 is also the Dec one, which has the old terminology. However, with the bulletin, you will see it is not much of a change so the rest of the book is still completely relevant for the June exams.
