Congratulations to all those who passed ACCA exams! Keep it up!

Those who didn’t - remember that this is just another step to success. There is always a next time.

Here is what you can do:
1. Chalk out honest and realistic study plans and try to stick to it.
2. Don't give up.

Remember, failing does not make you a failure. Tell yourself that even if you haven't cleared the exam, taking exams keeps your options open.

Go for it!

Acid

Those who have failed , should reconsider thier study plan and dont give up .

Remember to fail an exam is not a failure but to fail to hope is a great failure!

Bcoz an exam is either meant to be passed or failed but a loss of hope is not an exam but always should remain an hope!

Cheers,

Acid

This is for those who could not be able to clear the last ACCA exams.... at this point of time I know that nothing could console them but as mentioned in this quote

"I will not say I failed 1000 times I will say that I discovered there are 1000 ways that can cause failure!!"

Thomas Edison

Next time try to avoide those 1000 ways that can cause failure & be successful and for that i wish all of u very best of luck....work harder and Get Through!!!

I passed F3 with 89 mark. But I failed F2 with 28! I was quate confident of passing it because I answered most of the question without any difficulties...Do you think there can be a mistake and it is worth to request an administrative review? Were there any cases when administrative review ammended the mark??

Please enlighten me for F2. I'm taking this paper as a self study paper. Thanks

Vandana
21-02-08, 03:25 AM
Hi Lin,

You can ask for a review, but it normally only tells you where you went wrong. Were there any parts you found difficult?

Congratulations on your F3 score - that is terrific!

Also Ashish - well done! We are proud of you and look forward to your guidance for students on the forum!

Lin
21-02-08, 04:18 AM
Thanks Vandana, I also think that I will not lose my time on getting through the appelation process, rather I will start from the beginning and learn it once more...The most difficult part for me was relevant costing, actually I skipped these questions, however there were not too many related to that topic...anyway, hope next time will do better...
2 coyete, Managerial accounting is not difficult (don't look at my score;). Try to solve as many problems from the Exam Kit and Pilot Papers as possible. Practise as much as possible. The questions are very similar by nature to the Exam Kit...I was also taking both papers as a self study. Good luck to you :-)

Hi guys,
Can anyone advise me plse?

I will sit for June exmas and I can't decide whether to take F6, F7 and F8 at the same time.
What if i decide to take only F7 and F8 and try F6 in december..
which 2 combinations would be the best out of them 3??
Thanks for any help/comment!

Lin
22-02-08, 04:54 AM
2 Flower14: I think the combination of F7 and F8 is the best. Don't stress yourself...I also heard that Taxation is one of the difficult papers...
I am going to re-take F2, and also take F4 and F5. Could you please advise how to approch them? There are a lot of cases in F4, should I remember them by heart? Espesially the name of the cases - I can't remember them!!! Please advise me...

hi Lin,

thanks for your commnets.
I really cannot believe i got F4.. was worried about memorising the cases as well..

What I did was write the important cases at the end of each chapter and make sure i remember at least one of them so I can include it in a question...Practice past papers and you will be able to do it!!

Get through text is a good one!!!
Hope u do well!

Hi buddy,
I must admit that during my ACCA studies, I found P2 (int) to be the most troublesome paper. However, after passing it, it seems that stategy which I adopted for it clicked.

Needless to say that 'Revision Kit' is the most important element in P2 preparation, Do it as many times as possible. and if u can afford it, try revision series of two publications as it can provide u viewpoint of two authors. keep in touch with financial and accountancy press and keep on updating ur knowledge...
Good luck for ur exams
