2. Meaning of cast and cross cast?

Hi,

F8 terms query:

1. Meaning of cast- to make a total.

2. Meaning of cast and cross cast - - to make a total of the acount and a cross total like the total of the purchase register and a cross total of the various columns of the purchase register

3. Cut-off date of purchases should be based on GRN date instead of Purchases Invoice date-
Date of GRN is the actual date of receipt of goods whereas the purcahse invoice date is the date of preparation of invoice. Both may be different, but what is relevant is the date of GRN as it is the proof of receipt of materials.

4. Difference between trade payable and purchase accruals-

Both mean the same; generally it is termed as trade payables. However accruals means expense payable or current loans payable
