Just wanted to make a suggestion.. i recieved my F3 study text and i found the fronts of the book bit unusual for a text book.. i dont knw if u may use diff fronts or reduce the size of front then the book size can be reduced and could save more paper.. also the size of the book.. and it may be less cost for us.
I hope the publisher can think about this ...

thank you

Hi Priyo.

Thank you for your suggestion.

I think for me the font style is the unique feature of the book. I like it . It's very cozy and friendly.
Regarding the font size , Thank you for your concern about the environment but I think a good and big font should to be good for the students which makes the book seems more roomy and this really helps while reading some crunching subjects. So I think the publisher have kept all these factors in mind before deciding the font size.

Acid

Hi Priyo,

I have passed your comments on to the design team. We will be changing the style slightly when we reprint the editions in June. We will take your comments on board!

Thanks again for making suggestions and let us know if you have any others!

Please dont decrease the font size !

Hi Acid

Don't worry! I guess the font size won't be decreased only the font style will be changed so as to make it more legible.

Hello everyone!

Just want to add a quck suggestion: Please do not reduce the font size and size of the book and do not change significantly the style of the presenation of the material - it's MUCH MORE EASIER to read a BIGGER FONT SIZE and easier to understand with the help of colorful diagrams and images.

I think, the suggestions from users of GTG materials (i.e. students) can help in improving the materials. However, would it be better to obtain the suggestions (or opinios) from the majority of GTG members on SIGNIFICANT matters BEFORE any changes? For example, by means of simple voting?

Other probable reasons:

1) I guess it's very critical for the students with the poor eyesight to have an opportunity to study the material without unnecessary effort for our eyes(especially for me, with the -6.5 eyesight and working at least 9 hours per day with the computer);

2) This is an unique style of GTG's books that attracts (I hope successfully) it's range of customers. The rapid change of styles could lead to the reduction of the existing and potential users.

3) ??

Rajes

Hi Rajes and Annie Lee

Thanks for your suggestions. The font size will not be decreased. Any changes to font style / size will be made only to make the text more legible and easy to read.

Also be assured that suggestions from GTG members are always welcome and valued by GTG and will be taken into consideration.

I think layout is very important in the books. I like the GTG layout , I like its font and I think the font size would even look better if its increased , as said above , its much easier to read and that makes a greater impact on the brain !!

I love those cartoon graphics on the Studytext and Keynotes . They are fun and help to remember a topic via relating it to the text.
