Pls help how to cal full goodwill for q 12/02 & 12/03 -Mixed group consol f/s

The full goodwill means that you need also add NCI of goodwill into parents goodwill. to ensure the goodwill calculated in full; as well as add it to NCI to obtain the full value for NCI.

yes. but when i use full goodwill for mixed group consol , i confuse..do u knw how to cal full goodwill for mixed group ?

It's same. you just need look the effective control when do the complex group, and also add the NCI goodwill in to Parent goodwill which in under the effective control, not under actual control.

Parent owns 90% on Sub and Sub owns 80% on sub sub---to calculate effective control you multiply 90% * 80% = 72%
