View Full Version : Counting Down
Hi All,
I think we all hve to put in mind that the counting down starts today, as Exam would be after 30 day exactly, I would like to make u remeber that u r in bad need of personal detailed programme for this month , I suggest the following :
1- go through the syllabus to be sure that u covered all it; if u didn't so ( like me) try to finish as early as possible.
2-much exam question type practice with direct focus on ur marks( use marking schem), as this will improve ur readiness & will discover the erea in which u r weak.
3- complete at least three exam papers(from past or pilot papers) in all exam conditions.
4-try to solve ur deffeciencies in those three exams.
all the BEST

For me going through the syllabus to make sure I studied everything just makes me nervous. I think that there is so much information that I can never cover everything. However when I practice lots of past papers in these last days my confidence is bosted and I feel better prepared for the exam. I would not suggest trying to revise everything from the text in this last month. Practive lots of past papers.
I find the more I look at the text, the less I know. Just as I get to grip with one topic the others I've done in the past just go out of my mind, and I start again.. Its a vicious circle=-(
Hi Kelly
It's called Nearing Exams excitement (more like OMG I am a looser) !!!!
reading the text from cover to cover is very good, in fact it is the greatest thing you can do. But at this crucial stage forget the text and go to the question bank.
I know exactly what you are saying so I am using this strategy for my June sitting. I am all jitters and sometimes I feel so confused.

I quite agree, as soon as an exam is near, jitters take over and you start forgetting. Please try our best to stay calm and focussed.
