Hi,

Those who have failed in P2 and retaking it in June 2009 session, What approach will you take to start studying the paper again ? How will you start?

I am thinking of starting directly from the Question Practice, What do you all think?

I would use the QP as a start, use it to identify the areas that you struggle with and then back it up with extra reading etc.

The current issues question is often tipped well by tutors and it would be worth finding someone who goes to classes to see what they cover under this subject.

Good luck, you have the right attitude and you'll get through this time - I'm sure.

Hi

I would do this:

If retaking P2:
Go through the text and see which are the concepts that I have yet to master. While restudying them i would ALSO practice the other areas / concepts so that i do not lose touch with them.

If answering P2 for the first time:
Go through the Text first and then attempt the QB as an entire section is over.

Pritika.

Good suggestion, Pritika.
But where is the QB? Why it is not available to purchase? I have already asked this question half a year ago but no response!

Even if you start with questions , you end up going to the study text again. This paper seems to be a tricky paper, you need to cover the entire sylabus and understand everything

I repeat my question for GTG again (and for "brilliant" zamust and alike).

Why P2 Corporate Reporting Question Bank (International) Will NOT be available this season?

I have bought from GTG books in 2008 year for 6 ACCA exams and passed successfully all 6 exams - thanks to very good GTG Text books.

Earlier I have bought P1 and P2 text books, however there is no QB for P2 for almost a year!!! So the question is Why???
