Hello everyone,

New year has arrived and I am sure everyone has made some resolution for this year ahead! Let's share our resolutions with each other through this forum.

My new year's resoution is to study astrology. I have always been interested in this subject and now I think it's time to take action on my interest.

Hi,

In my new year resolution I have planned that I'll not repeat the same mistake which I did this time in F6 Study i.e. trying to understand logic behind everythings! For somethings we dont need to understand logic like If HMRC says something than just do it , dont ask its logic!

Rachel - you probably don't know this but I studied astrology for many years. Lots of interesting facts and some fiction!

Asad, I agree - sometimes there is no logic with HMRC. You know when it comes to CGT of shares, HMRC 'forgot' to put in legislation that the calculations need to be rounded to 3 decimal places. So of course, it means we had one pool of shares where we don't round anything off and others where we do!!!

My new year's resolution is to exercise at least 3 times a week and read a new book every month!

Thats very true. And for me astrology is a complete fiction!
