Why dont you try looking at your local bookshop... I m sure they are available in all bookshop which have accountancy books with them .. you should check with them.

I went to lahore distributor today. They don't have books of P-Level :( and won't be available until the next session. What do we do now? :S

Hmm.. Sounds like a question with a small Q . I dont think GTG P series book would be available for this session but hopefully from the next session.

So is there any chance that P series books would be available in Pakistan.I contacted the Professional Business Publications Sales personal in lahore and they said they are not sure.(why cant they simply say yes or no) :mad:


and why cant GTG go for ebook or some thing there are many security plugins which can restrict the no of pcs that soft copy can be used as well as the numbers of prints that can be made out of it.Just a humble opinon that would solve problems of lot students that are living outside UK

Because the Postage charges make it way too expensive 65 pound = Rs 9500.:mask:in last attempt i gave Rs 8000 for tuition fee for P2 in college( for full time course)

I fully understand your concerns regarding the unavailability and unafforadability of GTG Books for students in Pakistan.

Its unlikely that currently you will find P papers GTG Study materials in Pakistan. However I can guess that you will find the studymaterials from next session onwards in Pakistan.

I will let you know when that happens.

Get a soft copy from somebody.

Is there a soft copy available of these books. If one try to find GTG books on Torrent sites or file sharing sites one gets really disappointed.

:wub: can anybody upload :chatterbox: and let all the people know about the torrent on mininova.org or isohunt.com , in the chat rooms are maybe in announcements.

I don't know whether it's against the policy of the forum, I'm talking about filesharing and nothing else. Filesharing is not against laws.

Actually not alot of strict piracy laws here in Pakistan so most people dont even know sometimes while buying pirated software that its not legal. We've been buying pirated stuff since the beginning so people are kinda used to it.

GTG is a small independant company with the aim of providing study materials to those who cannot afford the high rates of others.
If filesharing/copying were to happen then we would very shortly cease to exist, so you the students would lose out and would have to start paying higher prices and using our competitor materials.

Let me tell you that people in Pakistan are actually very well aware of using pirated stuff contrary to what you say. People are used to it because they have affordibility problems which certainly is not a justification of buying pirated materials.

Yes but not until recently. I mean even i around 3-4 years back didnt know that the CD's of games and software that i was buying are illegal pirated Cd's.. There are still quite a lot of people unaware of piracy. And yeah not alot of people can afford original stuff here either.
