Thanks for offering your help. I truly appreciate it. I would definitely let you know. At the moment I would want you to clear some thing for me. I don't know whether it's the correct place to ask or not but still I'll ask :)
There is a solution to a question that's bothering me. Section D, chapter 1: Accounting for materials, page no. D1.27, Example, which goes like this, A firm is able to obtain quantity discounts on it's orders of materials as follows......
In the solution where the ordering quanitity is 1500 is wrongly calculated.
It's 39000+23.33+877.5= 33900.83 whereas it should be 39000+23.33+877.5= 39900.83

The error you pointed out is a genuine one. Apologies!!!!! We are already in the process of making refinements to our second edition for the book and this mistake has already been marked for correction. The answer that you have calculated is absolutely correct. So don't worry, you are on the right track!
