Hello all,

All of the members have answered the QQ6 correctly. Good !!!!! Keep it up.

In continuation of QQ6, we all now know that option A is a purpose of management representation.

Just answer “what is option B”. Option B is reproduced here, fill in the blank.

A _________________ is addressed to the directors of a company, and is written by the auditors of that company at a time towards the end of the audit. The letter contains information on weaknesses in the company’s control systems, identified by the auditor, examples of errors that could occur because of each weakness and recommendations on how to mitigate those weaknesses.

the answer is - A letter of weakness. - a letter of weakness is where an auditor advise/inform the client that their controls are weak and give some suggestions.

When the auditor does not have sufficient or no audit evidence to carry out the audit then a management representation letter is being drawn up as confirmation of what management would have confirmed.
