There is so many places where deferred income is used that it gets confusing to remember where.

Does anyone please have a list of all the places where deferred income is applied?

I am talking about the IFRS/IAS

Thank you

Hi there,

Could you be a bit more specifc?

OK - off the top of my head:

IAS 11 - construction contracts (in that you may defer revenue depending on stage of completion)
IAS 18 - revenue recognition
IAS 20 - Government grants
generally - in consolidation

This is where I can think of deferred income. Hope this helps and best of luck!!

Hi,

yes there can be deferred income with leases if you are the lessor. Well done - I had forgotten that one!
