I'm just happy that for me exams are finished for the summer :) Good luck to those of you who have more who to go this week x

Hi everyone,
I just sat at this exam on Monday... I was so disappointed I wanted to cry at the end of the exam: that was not difficult at all, but time pressure makes me fail I think. I was short of 20minutes to finish at least the first question of the 4th part.. then I am pretty sure to gain 45marks on the other questions, so I will have to take it again in december session...
The thing I know now is that: remember your reflex you used to have during your studies at school: do it quickly, do not think. You have no time to think.
And another question pop up in my mind: to which level of details do we have to go in "comments", "analyse", or "explain" questions? I started in the first one in depth, as books do, but then impossible to finish the exam on time...
I have to remind me this for december sessions....
congratulations to those who have succeed!
Yes exactly!!!
I felt exactly the same as AccaLover did .I was so frustrated that day that i nearly decided to give up my further ACCA studies.I only attempted 2 questions in 2 and half hours beacuse of my frustration i could not do well in F7 as well.
I am really concern about the time allocation for this paper.
Does anyone has any idea whether the time allocation is fair enough?or am i the weakest one ?

Hi Lochan,
don't give up ACCA! some colleagues here at work told me that this is normal the first time and you will pass the second time! it seems that you don't have to think during this exam, just regurgite all your knowledge, without taking any time to think how to do. We have to concede that questions were easy. Personaly I wanted to structure my answers and develop some comments: I will forget about this next time...
I am sure that now that we have viewed where are difficulties (time management), we should pass in december!

that always the problem time management :realmad:
now I tested it, and I am aware. I am then confident for next time, I needed to see by myself...
I understand now why it should be quicker for me to learn "by heart" some concepts rather than think and spend time to explain with my words..
that always the problem time management :realmad:
From students’ point of view, time management is a crucial factor for examinations.
While preparing for examinations always emphasise on writing practice rather than cramming or reading.
Try to solve more and more exam based questions in precise time limit. By learning this way, your writing skills will improve and exam fear will go away.
f6 questions were not so much bad i did it very well, i just pray that god should take control

God can only take control before and during the exam after the exam we have to wish for miracles

:arghh: i thought so too......... time too short, but i realise this early in the exam! like about 45 minutes, the F5 questions were long and everything had to be worked out.
However, i am soooo concern about my handwriting, persons are telling me not to worry, anyone share this concern?
Wishing every on at least 50% :-)

Hi shatorna,
We cannot return what has passed, but we can make sure that we could do better than last time.
So, if you are concerned about your handwriting try to improve it.
The best thing you can do is that when you are studying try to write as much as possible than just by hearting the text.
While writing you will get habitual to the words of the subject and your handwriting will also improve.
Best of luck for result!
